"Pepsi" Response

The Pepsi commercial seeks to connect to millennial consumers but fails. The Pepsi Company tried to cater to the generation by using a diverse group of people protesting, something topical among millennials, but added Kendall Jenner who is equally hated as she is loved. The commercial makes light of protests actually happening in the country and makes light of the people's efforts to make a difference. Overall Pepsi is ignorant and this commercial might only appeal to white, upper class millennials that have never had to protests for their rights.
